Who has seen "A World Without Thieves" directed by Xiaogang Feng? ?
I've been meaning to get this movie since I first saw in when it came out.
My little synopsis:
A con-artist couple team (Andy Lau & Rene Liu) head west after blackmailing
a city businessman for his BMW. But an encounter with a naive carpenter
traveling home with his life savings (I think its about 60,000) affects there
lives as thieves as they fend off other thieves and decide to claim the money
for their own.
I thought this was a heart-warming, and moving film (I prefer action packed
movies so typing "heart-warming" is killing me. ).
The overall mood of the movie was astonishing as I lay waiting for something big
to happen (see, I like action films more). I like the flow was first-rate even
though I like things more of a fast-pace. Dialogue was clear simple to hear and
easy to follow, background music and sound effects are clean and clear. The
English subtitles were all right, there might be some weird phrases but you can
pull through. I really like the part with the eggs. The ending was kind of
disappointing though (since I'm a fan of Andy ).
Somehow this movie caught me by surprise since at first it didn't seem exciting
enough.

I don't see much of a problem with it. I think is is kind of ugly though. It was
the first thing I noticed when I got on.
Having money here is just like having money elsewhere. It's true that we like
occasional shopping sprees but you still need to be careful of your budget. I
also watch my credits(sometimes). If you need credits just contribute more but I
don't think MT was here just to get credits. I think MT was here for sharing
your "thoughts" and "imagination". Contributing keeps MT
livelier and awards credits.
The Mods are probably testing it out. I mean, this is MT version 3 or 4 right?
There are problems and they try to fix it. So if there is a problem with this
they would eventually take care of it just like putting in the "Free
Download Quota" in the first place. Just that they need your response to
find the problems. Oh! yeah, I kind of like the preview thing from Animepaper.
what about "even if you see it, as long as you don't believe, it doesn't
existed"? i just don't want to believe because i am actually a coward who
is brave if i don't know. this is actually sort of keeping me sane(as sane as i
can be). i get unexplain cuts on my body and i see thing all around even in the
day. i believe there is a logical explaination for this but one time i almost
thought i was crazy(because i still belive ghost don't exist). My brothers are
always talking about ghost and stuff they saw at night and believe i can't see
them because i don't talk about it but what they don't know is that some of
their "ghost" i have seen. one time though i felt something
physically, (and i wasn't so observant) during that time i woke in the middle of
the night and notice sounds of the street, shadows, my family outside and other
proof that i wasn't dreaming. i was unable to move (i thought this could be a
dream because the not moving thing i heard lots of times) i could not make a
sound but i saw nothing. so i tried to move and give a little call but it was
when i put more force into it, i saw something dash off of me and t was sort of
like a person. my family verified my experience by telling me what they did and
also hearing me a little and seeing something moving in my room. but i'm trying
to pass it off as some weird subconscience fantasy. strange thing about this is
i try to stay calm because if i get scared i yell a show anger for little things
such as waking me up (my family heard that one night to).
The government can do better with foreign aid. I'm not saying to take away our
money more but to spend it wisely. I like the idea of spending money the help
other people. They should establish a better foundation for these countries so
they can stand on there own. Aid is distrubuted to just a random group most
times. They bring in supplies and just leave. Those group would probably be just
as well even if the supplies never came because they are still
suffering.
The U.S. is losing millions of dollars everyday. The U.S. government tries to
supply job to the market industry. They support unions also to keep these jobs.
For example, a high school I know spent about $15 million on about a new paint
job, fixing some window, replacing ceiling tiles, and taking out a heating
system for 11 new one that was suppose to be "cost efficient". This
was about three years ago and they say they would be done in a couple of months.
A Home Depot on the otherhand recently started construction and is nearly
completed by a private organization. They would a hire a private organization
but they can only hire between certain restrictions according to union rules.
Also a city pays "under the table" 80% of it's worker because they
can't afford the cost of 30 per hour and all the benefits of a union to
everyone. The city officials says they will take care of it but actually hope
that it will go away and this is actually in one of the U.S. most prosperous
cities.These are some ways the government throws away our money. If the
government spent money more wisely we can get more money.
The U.S. is not really a true democracy just as communist crountries weren't
really communist. If there was a true democracy, then there would be no
government. Not one person can understand the wants and needs of all the people.
One can though understand the wants and needs of society but that can only be
acheived from a business point of view. The people from all throughout history
are too different for one to bring about society where everyone is happy that is
but that is why life is worth living. Besides the government looks at us through
statistics and graphs then tries to improve them.
The truth of the matter is most democracy today provides better lifestyles then
most government system. Unless someone creates a better form of government our
democracy is the best there is today as the Republic was for the Romans. True
democracy, from my point of view only has a chance in small communities a cities
instead of countries.
Asides from all of this seriousness, most homes are run by a dictator in the
form a parent or guardian.

it would be gret if there was a second season. there's a lot of loose ends that need to be tied up, like margery's story.
